How should I prepare my Google Pixel device?
Back up your data and transfer your mobile service first. Remove your Google account and, for a Galaxy device, your Samsung account before performing a factory reset through Settings. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your model, then remove any physical SIM and memory card. A data wipe does not remove an account lock or bypass ownership protection.
